Long before the island was called Sri Lanka, Greek sailors knew it as Taprobane, a land of rich coasts and unending craft. That craft has included fly tying for more than four decades, carried out in homes and small benches across the island.
Taprobane Flies is part of that tradition. We are a manufacturer and hand-tying house in Kandana: honest materials, careful proportions, and flies made to fish rather than to sit in a box. Orders ship worldwide, wholesale and retail.
